Training & Workshops

The AT Lab works to increase assistive technology (AT) education and support capacity in Oregon and Southwest Washington.

We give in-person trainings, workshops, and presentations on a wide range of topics. Mentorship opportunities are also available. We partner with individuals, families, and other organizations to increase the use and support of assistive technology in the region.

We also create online training materials, such as our Technology Solutions for Support Professionals program.

Topics

We offer training and workshops on a wide range of AT topics. Recent examples include:

  • Universal Design for Learning (UDL)
  • Educational inclusion

We can customize our training programs to meet the needs of you organization or institution.

We also offer training and workshops at the AT Lab. Please see our Event page for upcoming events or contact us to make a request for training and workshops at the AT Lab.

Workshop rates

We can offer workshops and presentations at your location. Rates for a formal presentation are $200/hour and $75/hour for an informal training and consultation. Travel time and mileage are also charged. Formal presentations are offered at a minimum of two hours including set-up and break-down time.
