Free Loan Closet
What Is the AT Loan Closet?
Discover the possibilities of Assistive Technology! If you are looking to explore AT before making a commitment, check out the AT Lab Loan Closet.
Our Loan Closet provides a free 2-week loan program, allowing you to try devices in real-life settings. Whether you need support with communication, daily living, or accessibility, we’re here to help!
📌 Please note: Our inventory does not include wheelchairs or durable medical equipment (such as commodes and personal care products).
How the Loan Closet Works
✔️ Browse the Loan Closet Inventory to find the item you would like to borrow.
✔️ Fill out the Loan Closet Request Form. If you are not sure the exact item you would like, pick a category (such as “keyboard”), and we can help you decide which one to try. We may suggest a few different options.
✔️ We will respond within 2 to 4 business days and contact you to schedule a pick-up.
✔️ Pick-up and drop-off takes place on Thursdays* at the AT Lab. Free instructional support is available.
*If Thursdays don’t work, please request a different day.
